- Sun 1 Nov 2026: clocks go back one hour in New York and Toronto, so NYSE, Nasdaq and TSX open an hour later for anyone in a time zone that doesn't change that day.

Dates are worked out from published rules or taken from each exchange's published holiday list; years an exchange hasn't published yet are left out. Exchanges can add closures at short notice, so check the official calendar before acting on a date.
How these hours are worked out
Regular hours are from each exchange's published trading hours. Holidays and early closes are worked out from the exchanges' published holiday rules for ASX, NYSE, Nasdaq, TSX, LSE, Euronext, Xetra, SIX, BME, Nasdaq Stockholm, the JSE and Tokyo. For HKEX, Shanghai, Shenzhen, KRX, TWSE, NSE, Tadawul and ADX, whose holidays follow lunar or religious calendars or a yearly government notice, they are taken from each exchange's published holiday list, for the years it has published. One-off closures announced at short notice (a national day of mourning, severe weather) are not included. Check the official calendar before relying on a date.
